Grand Conclusion of Annamaiah Jayanthi

Tirupati, 5 May 2018: The TTD celebration of 610th Jayanti utsavam of Ballard poet patriarch Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya concluded on Saturday.

The weeklong celebrations commenced from April 29 to May 5 culminated today with the Asthanam of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy at the Annamacharya Kalamandiram. The Utsava idols of Sri Kodandarama swamy was brought from the temple to Kalamandiram in a procession and the artists of the Annamacharya project rendered sankeertans. Later the utsava idols were brought back to the temple.

Earlier in the day Smt Jandhyala Krishnakumari Bhagavathar of Tirupati presented a harikatha parayanam on the Annamaiah jeevita charitra. In the evening Smt Vasudha Ravi team from Chennai presented gatra sangeetham. Similarly the artist  Anirban Rai of Kolkata presented Sangeeta Sabha at Mahati auditorium.
