Kalyana Venkanna Glitters on Swarna Ratham

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 6 May 2018: The Swarna Rathotsavam was performed on Sunday evening part of the ongoing Annual Vasanthotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Earlier in the morning after daily morning rituals celestial abhisekham of Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deity with honey, curd, milk, sandal paste, coconut water and perfumed water. Later in the evening the utsava idol was paraded on the mada streets along with both consorts.

On May 7 at the conclusion of the Vasanthotsavam the devotee couple could participate with payment of Rs.516 and beget bahumanam of uttariyam, blouse, annaprasadam etc. The TTD cancelled the arjita sevas of Kalyanotsavam, Swarna Pushparchana, and Astottara shatakalashabisekham in view of Vasantotsavam.
