Grand Vasnthotsavam in Sri Kalayana Venkateswara Swamy Temple Begins

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 5 May 2018: The celestial utsavam of Annual Vasanthotsavam commenced on Saturday at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram. After the morning rituals of Suprabatam, Thomala Seva and Sahasranama Archana, the utsava idols were taken out to Vasantha mandapam for Asthanam. 

As part of the ritual Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the Utsava Deities along with His consorts Sri Devi and Bhudevi with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and fruit juices. In the evening the Unjal seva was performed for the deities before they were paraded in the mada streets in the Thiruveedhi utsavam.

SWARNA RATHOTSAVAM ON MAY 6

The Swarna Rathotsvam will be performed for the utsava idols in the evening of May 6.The devotee couple who wants to participate in the vasantotosavam with a token payment of Rs.516 will beget one uttariyam, one blouse piece and anna prasadam as bahumanam.

The TTD has cancelled the arjitha sevas- Kalyanotsavam, Swarna Pushparchana, Astothara Shata Kalashabisekam at the Sri KVS Temple in view of Vasanthotsavam.
