Balalayam Concludes in Appalayagunta

Appalayagunta, 6 August 2018: Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam concluded on a religious note in Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal said, for every 12 years this unique fete takes place in all the sub-temples of TTD. In 2006 Balalayam was performed in this temple and Jeernodharana works were taken up. Similarly this year gold malam to gopura kalasams, some more works in the sub shrines of Padmavathi Devi, Andal Godai will also be taken up this year.

Meanwhile there will be no darshan of presiding deity due to Balalayam. The darshan will be reinstated after the completion of all repair works by this month end.

Along with EO, Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar also took part in the Purnahuti religious fete. Spl.Gr.DyEO
