Sabarimala Sanitation Society volunteers to be honoured



Sabarimala Sanitation Society has been pivotal for the last 25 years in making Sabarimala clean and clear of wastes. Their significance has imparted in a large way safeguarding the pristineness and holiness of the temple. So with the efforts of Sabarimala Sanitation Society entering its 25th years, the volunteers were honoured on Tuesday at Sannidhanam.
In a meeting chaired by Devaswom Board President A Padmakumar, High Court recommended monitoring committee chairman Justice P R Raman inaugurated the felicitation function.  Committee members Justice S Sirijagan, ADGPA A Hemachandran were special guests. Special Commissioner Manoj, District Collector P B Nooh, Devaswom Board members K P Sankaradas, N Vijayakumar, Devaswom Commissioner N Vasu, Sanitation Society Member secretary M A Rahim and others were participated in the event.
The Sanitation Society has been operating for the past 25 years in the regions of Sannidhanam, Pampa, Nilakkal, Pandalam, and Kulanada.
It was in the year 1995 that the Sabarimala Sanitation Society was formed under the patronage of District Collector, RDO and District Police chief.
