More Greenery to TTD Roads - TTD JEo















Tirupati, 7 March 2019:  TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri B Lakshmikantham today said all measures were underway for more greenery in the 26 km long nine roads laid in temple town of Tirumala.

After his inspection of Roads, TTD Press, Publication wing, Saptagiri magazine office and book sales units, the JEO said greenery on par with airports would be promoted in temple town by planting attractive flower in the road dividers and nourished with drip irrigation.

He said green landscapes and flowerbeds would be promoted at the Sri Padmavathi complex at Tiruchanoor, Sri Kodandarami Rama Swamy Temple, Vontimetta, and Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Hyderabad.

He said on complaints of delays officials were directed to take effective steps to ensure delivery to 10 lakhs subscribers by updating their addresses. He wanted adequate ventilations systems in the publications wing and the TTD sales outlets promoted as devotional spots to attract more visitors.

Earlier he inspected the condition of green landscape in Tirupati roads from Alipiri to Nandi circles, Leela mahal junction, Mangalam road, Ramanuja circle, Tiruchanoor Road, Lakshmipuram, Annamaiah circle, MR Pali circle, Balaji colony, Sri Padmavathi rest house roads. 

TTD DFO Sri Phani Kumar Naidu, SE-1 Sri Ramesh Reddy, Chief Editor Dr Radha Ramana, DyEOs Sri K Vijay Kumar, Sri Hemachandra Reddy, OSD of Publications wing Dr T Anjaneyulu and others participated.
