REID To Provide Security to Jewels in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple - TTD JEo

Tirupati, 11 March 2019: The Radio Frequency Identity Device (RFID) will provide security to the jewels and on a experimental basis this has been introduced in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy (Sri GT) temple in Tirupati, said TTD JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.

During his inspection in Sri GT on Monday, this technology will help to prevent thefts in the temple. Sensormatic chips will be arranged to jewels and if anybody tries for mischief they will be caught red-handed he maintained. "Initially we arrange this in GT on the advise of Agama experts and later will extend the same to other temples", he added.

SE I Sri Ramesh Reddy, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, Spl Gr Dy EO Smt Varalakshmi, AVSO Sri Rajesh were also present.
