Dhwajavarohanam Performed

Vontimitta, 21 April 2019: In the evening Dwajavarohanam was performed heralding the conclusion of the nine day festival of annual brahmotsavams at Vontimitta.

The holy dhwajapatam will be lowered amidst chanting of holy mantras by temple priests as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama.

On Monday evening the Agama ritual of Pushpa yagam will be performed at the Sri Kodandaramaswami temple to ward off impact of misgivings and lapses of Brahmotsavams .
