JEO Inspects Balayam Arrangements at Varahaswamy Temple

Tirumala 21 April 2019:The five- day program of Astabandhana Balalaya Maha samprokshanam in Sri Varahaswami temple is slated from April 23 to 27 with Ankurarpanam on April 22 and in this connection Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the ritual arrangements in the temple with officials on Sunday evening. 

Later speaking to media, JEO said, after the kickoff of the program on Tuesday, the Maha samprokshanam will be performed on April  27th after series of vaidika rituals which includes Purnahuti and thirumanjanam at the yagashala from April 23 onwards.

In view of the  holy program, darshan in Srivari temple is suspended from 11am to 3.30pm  on April 27 and all other arjita sevas - Kalyanotsavam, unjal seva ,Brahmotsavams, and Vasantotsavam  were also cancelled for the day.

There will be no darshanam of Varahaswamy from April 23 to 3pm of April 27 in view of this fete, he maintained.
