Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Held in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple

Tiruchanoor, 14 May 19: In view of annual Vasanthotsavams which commences in Tiruchanoor temple from May 17 onwards, the traditional temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held in the temple on Tuesday.

The entire temple was cleansed with an amalgamation of aromatic traditional ingredients which was smeared all along the roofs and walls of the temple.

This religious fete was held between 6am and 9am. 

TTD has cancelled Arjitha Kalyanotsavam and Unjal seva in the temple in view of this ritual on Tuesday.

Temple DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani and other officials took part in this celestial cleansing fete.
