Vengamamba Jayanthi Celebrations Begins

Tirupati, 16 May 19: The 289th Birth Anniversary of Saint Poetess Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba commenced in Tirupati on Thursday.

Sahitya Sabha depicting the life of the renowned woman poetess and her great works were elucidated by scholars in Annamacharya Kalamandiram.

On Friday there will be pushpanjali to the statue of Vengamamba at MR Palle Circle in Tirupati.
