Tirupati, 12 Jul. 19: The annual Jyestabhishekam commenced in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple on Friday in Tirupati on the advent of the auspicious Jyesta star in the month of Ashada.
As a part of the fete, Satakalasa Snapanam and Maha Shanti Homam were held and the deities of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi were given Snapana Tirumanjanam in the morning. Later in the evening the procession of Tiruchi held.
HH Sri Chinna Jiyar Swamy of Tirumala, Spl.Gr.DyEO Smt Varalakshmi and other office staff were also present.
