President Offers Prayers in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple

Tiruchanoor, 13 July 2019 : H. E. the Honourable President of India,  Sri Ramnath Kovind offered prayers in the temple of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor on Saturday. 

 On his arrival at the entrance of the temple he was given warm reception by TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and Tirupati JEO Sri P Basanth Kumar. He was welcomed with the traditional Poorna kumbam Swagatham amidst the chanting of vedic hymns by temple priests. The Honourable Governor of twin Telugu states Sri ESL Narasimhan also accompanied the Prez for darshan. 

After darshan of the presiding deity along with his entourage, the Prez was given Vedasirvachanam by vedic pundits.  EO offered him Theertha prasadams to the first citizen of the Nation. 

TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy,TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO TPT SRI Basanth Kumar Temple, DyEO Smt Jhansirani,  AEO Sri Subramanyam and others were also present.
