Tirupati, 13 July 2019 : H. E. the Honourable President of India Sri Ramnath Kovind offered prayers in the famous Lord Shiva shrine of Sri Kapileswara Swamy at Tirupati on Saturday evening.
On his arrival at the entrance of the temple, he was received by Tirupati JEO Sri P Basanth Kumar and was accorded with the traditional Purnaphala Swagatham.
Later he had darshan of the presiding deity of Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru in the ancient temple. The first citizen of the Nation also took part in the Deepaaraadhana Seva.
JEO TPT Sri Basanth Kumar Temple, Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam was also present.
