Processioin of Holy Items Held

Tiruchanoor, 8 Aug. 19: In connection with Varalakshmi Vratam at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor on Friday, the procession of holy items was held on Thursday evening. 

Sri P Basant Kumar, Tirupati JEO carried the sacred items to beget the blessings of Padmavathi Ammavaru.  Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said among the important Hindu festivals, Varalakshmi Vratam is one such ones especially in Sravana month. 

He also said after the Varalakshmi Vratam the turmeric, vermilion, bangles etc. Will be distributed to women devotees.
