JEO Takes Part in Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Pavitrotsavams

Tirupati, 10 Sep. 19: TTD JEO Sri P Basant Kumar took part in the Pavitra Samarpana event on Monday in the ongoing Pavitrotsavams in the famous ancient shrine of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy in Tirupati.

Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said, Pavitrotsavams are usually observed to ward off the sins committed by the religious, non-religious staffs and even pilgrims either knowingly or unknowingly.

Meanwhile on the second day of the Pavitrotsavams, the event of Pavitra Samarpana took place where the celestial thread woven garlands were decked to different deities located in the temple. With Pavitra Purnahuti, the festival will conclude on Wednesday.
