Tirumala, 3 Oct. 19: In all five lakh 500ml water bottles would be distributed to devotees in the galleries of the four Mada streets on the Garuda Seva day on October 4 with the assistance of Srivari Sevakulu and local volunteers.
Disclosing this at the press meet in the media Center the TTD Health Officer Dr. RR Reddy said the Health department has fully geared to keep Tirumala clean and pollution-free as directed by TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal under supervision of Additional EO Sri A V Dharma Reddy.
He said TTD is using infection-free, stench free eco-friendly products in garbage clearance and cleaning operations. Five hundred more sanitary workers were deployed in addition to 2800 health staff along with 1050 Srivari Sevakulu. The Mada streets alone had 42 toilet blocks, he added.
