Sarees Presented to Women Kalyana Katta Staff

Tirumala, 2 Oct. 19: The Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy has presented two sets of sarees to the women barbers of Kalyanakatta in Tirumala. 

Among the total of 1350 barbers,  220 are women barbers in Tirumala.  

Upon the request of women barbers during their orientation programme last week at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala,  the Addnl. EO assured them to provide sarees on donation basis before brahmotsavams. 

The JEO instructed the officials to prepare an indent of male barbers also to present them uniform.

Speaking on the occasion,  DyEO Smt Nagarathna said, as assured,  the Addnl. EO presented the uniform sarees to all the women barbers and kept up his word. It is now the turn of all the barbers to render more services with dedication to pilgrims. 

AEO Sri Jagannadhachari and other office staffs were also present.
