At the commencement of the Mandala pilgrimage, 3.37 lakh people have used the facility of the virtual queue at Sabarimala. To be precise, 3,36,955 pilgrims till 4 pm on Wednesday reached Sabarimala through the virtual space. The largest number of people visited Sabarimala was on November 29. That day, 28934 Ayyappa devotees used the virtual queue. Virtual Queue is managed through a special website by Kerala Police. The pilgrims should come with a printed document they get after registering in the website.
The registration slip will be scanned and will be inspected by police officers who will send it to a special queue. A special police force has been deployed for virtual queue verification at Pampa, Marakkoottam, and Sannidhanam.
