Special Security till Friday come into force at Sabarimala

 
As a precaution, more security arrangements have been made in the Sabarimala Sannidhanam from Thursday (December 5) till midnight on Friday (December 6), said Sannidhanam Police Special Officer Dr A. Srinivas told in a press meet here on Thursday. The rituals will not be affected as per the new security system. Meanwhile, VVIP will visit to Sabarimala will discourage during the period. Pilgrims will not be affected and also will make smooth darshan for them.

Highpoint binocular monitoring will be in place. Sky observation has been done. The bomb squad will inspect the Sopanam after its closure on Thursday night. No additional police force has been deployed but the service hours of the officers have been increased. Police will be deployed at all locations where water is stored. There will be special inspections of firefighters and bomb squads everywhere.

Police will ensure that all the departments have adequate staff to serve. All employees must wear the identification card. The tractors will continue to be inspected at Pampa. The tractors will also be inspected a second time from Thursday afternoon.

NDRF Deputy Commandant G.Vijayan, RAF Deputy Commandant G.Dinesh, Devaswom Board Executive Officer VS Rajendra Prasad, Duty Magistrate MP Vinod, Executive Magistrate CS Anil and ASO Biju Bhaskar also attended the press conference.
