Devotees should switch off mobile phones at Sannidhanam

 
As part of security at Sabarimala Sannidhanam, Sannidhanam Police Special Officer Dr. A Sreenivas said that the mobile phone should be switched off from Nadapanthal to Malikappuram. A digital display will be installed to propagate the message asking the devotees not to use mobile phones in the stretch. In addition, the police on duty will also inform the pilgrims about this. He said the mobile phone should be switched off they leave the Malikappuram temple. The decision was taken at a meeting attended by the Travancore Devaswom Board Executive Officer.
