Devaswom Board President in praise of Visudhi Sena

Travancore Devaswom Board President N Vasu has praised the efforts of the Visudhi Sena in maintaining the sanctity of Ayyappan's gardens. He was speaking after inaugurating the ceremony of paying respect to the sacred service of the Visudhi Sena members at the Sabarimala Valiya Nadapanthal.


The Visudhi Sena plays a vital role in cleaning the surroundings of Sabarimala and related areas. Blankets were kindly distributed to all the members in respect to their service. About 900 service personnel are involved in sanitation at Sabarimala.


Sabarimala Executive Officer VS Rajendra Prasad presided over the function. Assistant Executive Officer J. Jayaprakash, Devaswom Assistant Executive Engineer Ajit Kumar, Sannidhanam Duty Magistrate Anil Kumar, RAF DSP Ilankovan, NDRF Deputy Commandant G. Vijayan, Devaswom Board and senior officials of various departments participated in the function.
