Devotees should cooperate for a smooth Makara Vilakku darshan

Sannidhanam special officer S Sujit Das said the devotees should cooperate fully in order to overcome the 'Makara Vilakku' congestion. Devotees who have had the darshan should return in order to make way for the newly arrived devotees. A large number of devotees are expected for the Makara Vilakku festival. The police have deployed in such a way to control the congestion. 1397 policemen have been deployed. Additional police service will be made on the 13th, 14th and 15th of this month. The police security will be strengthened at the places where the Makara Vilakku can be seen easily. Security will be strengthened by deploying additional police at the Pandithavalam. The Police, together with the Devaswom Board, will set up temporary barricades before the Makara Vilakku and take special precautions to avoid accidents.
