Tirupati, 28 Mar. 20: Upon the request of the district administration to provide food packets to the shelter-less and on-duty staff deputed in view of Covid 19 Lockdown in the temple city of Tirupati, TTD on Saturday prepared 15000 Pulihora packets.
JEO Sri P Basant Kumar personally supervised the food packets arrangements at TTD Employees Canteen in Tirupati which was prepared under the Annaprasadam Trust Wing of TTD.
From Sunday onwards, TTD will pack 45 thousand food packets which includes 30 thousand packets in the first half of the day and 15 thousands in the night. Everyday there will change of menu including Curd Rice, Pepper rice, Vegetable rice, Tomato rice, Bisibelabath, Pongal etc.
The food packets were handed over to Revenue, TMC and TUDA officials who in turn took up the distribution process at Vishnunivasam, Srinivasasam, First and Second Chouwltries and Padmavathi Nilayam at Tiruchanoor.
DyEO Annaprasadam Trust Sri Nagaraja, DyEO Sri Govindarajan, DyEO Tirupati Annaprasadam Sri Lakshman Naik, Catering Officer Sri Saibaba Reddy, Kalyanotsavam Project Special Officer Sri RS Gopal and others were also present.
