TTD Parade Grounds get Ready to Host Karthika Deepotsavam

Tirupati, 29 Nov. 20: The Parade Grounds located on the backside of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati, got up to host the Karthika Deepotsavam on Monday.

 

It may be mentioned here that TTD has mulled up month-long Karthika Deepotsavam religious activities both at Tirumala and in Tirupati. As part of it, the Deepotsavam will be observed on November 30 in Tirupati to which HH Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamy of Kanchi Mutt will grace and deliver a religious discourse.

 

After a couple of dharmic spiritual-cultural programmes, Deepotsavam-litting of ghee lamps with over 500 women folk has been scheduled to take place in the grounds. The cemented stands to hold ghee lit lamps were erected in the grounds. To give them a traditional look, rangolis were drawn by Srivari Seva Volunteers on Sunday.
