Last Karthika Sunday Utsava Held

Tirupati, 13 Dec. 20: The festival of last Sunday in Karthika month was observed at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati.

 

As part of the festivities, the utsava idols of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and his consorts were paraded in Bangaru Tiruchi and later offered Snapana Tirumanjanam at Sri Anjaneya temple, which was followed by nivedana, and Asthana.

 

Thereafter the idols of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Anjaneya Swamy were brought in two separate Tiruchis to the Sri Govindarajaswami temple.

 

Temple special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, Chief archaka Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Superintendent Sri Rajendra Kumar, Temple Inspector Sri Krishnamurthy and others were present.
