Cleft LIp and Cleft Palate Surgeries Begins at BIRRD Hospital

 The BIRRD hospital performed five cleft lip & cleft palate surgeries on Tuesday successfully on the day one of the new mission for curing infants.

 

The procedures were performed by the eminent Dr Krishnamurthy from Bangalore and Dr Jhansi, plastic surgeon of BIRRD hospital.

 

The BIRRD  hospital is now equipped to perform critical Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate operations on children above three months. Besides providing free treatment TTD has also offered free transport charges to patients and their dependents.

 

In the event, such patient suffered from other hereditary ailments TTD offered to treat them after tests.

 

TTD is also organising infrastructure and procedures for deaf and dumb infants.

 

For Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate operations the patients should register their names between Monday - Friday from morning 8 am to afternoon 12 noon on registered Mobile No. 7337318107 in advance.

 

Without Adhaar card or Arogyasree card and without differentiation of rich or poor all such operations are performed freely in the BIRRD hospital.

 

OSD of BIRRD hospital Dr Reddappa Reddy said TTD intends to perform a minimum of 100 such operations every month.
