“We Will Take Telugu Cinema to Greater Heights” - Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao
The Mana Panel has secured a decisive victory in the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) elections 2026, winning a strong majority in several key posts.
C. Kalyan of the Mana Panel was elected unopposed as President, while Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao was elected Treasurer. Mohan Vadlapatla from the Mana Panel and Damodara Prasad from the Progressive Panel were elected as Vice Presidents.
As Joint Secretaries, Ammi Raju and Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana from the Mana Panel emerged victorious.
In the Executive Committee, three candidates from the Progressive Panel—Maitri Ravi, Niranjan Reddy and D.S. Rao—were elected. The Mana Panel secured 12 Executive Committee positions, with Padmini, Asian Sunil, Mohan Goud, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, Danayya, Vamsi Nandipati, Palli Kesava Rao, Srinivasa Rao, Pullarao, Bapiraju, R.K. Goud and Nayeem emerging victorious.
The result for the Secretary post has been withheld due to a pending court case. Election Officer Durga Prasad will seal the result in a cover and submit it to the court. The result is expected to be opened and officially announced in the presence of the judge on September 8.
Speaking after the victory, Treasurer-elect Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao thanked the voters for giving the Mana Panel a strong mandate.
“I sincerely thank all the voters who gave our panel a good majority. I would also like to specially thank the Nandamuri family and Sunil Narang for their support,” Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao said.
He emphasized the strength and experience of the newly elected team.
“Our panel has several experienced members. We will make use of their experience and work towards taking the Telugu film industry to greater heights,” he said.
He also assured that the panel would not overlook the interests of small producers.
“We will stand by small producers and support them. We will work for their welfare and do everything possible to address their concerns,” Srinivasa Rao added.
Speaking after his election, President-elect C. Kalyan thanked the media and everyone who supported the Mana Panel.
“First of all, I thank all the media members who supported us. I also thank everyone who travelled from far away to come and vote for us. Thank you for giving our panel a victory with a 95% majority,” he said.
C. Kalyan said the newly elected team would work for the welfare of the industry and producers.
“We have come here to do good for the industry and work for the welfare of producers. The Telugu film industry is doing well compared to other industries, and we request everyone to cooperate with us,” he said.
He added that the panel would soon announce its action plan and promised to stand firmly behind small producers. He also specially thanked Bandla Ganesh for his support.
The votes secured by the winning candidates were also announced, and all the elected members were congratulated on their victory.
Tummala Prasanna Kumar thanked the media for their support and congratulated all the winning candidates.
“I thank the media members who supported us. Congratulations to everyone who won. The people who can do good for the industry have won. It is a great thing that strong and capable people have won the Producers Council elections,” he said.
The Secretary post result will be officially announced by the court on September 8, bringing the final chapter of the TFPC elections to a close.
