Bhoomi Pooja Performed for Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple at Karimnagar






TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Wednesday performed the bhumi puja for the construction of Sri Venkateswara temple at Karimnagar in Telangana state amidst Vedic mantras etc.


As part of the Agama traditions, archakas performed Sankalp,punya havachanam, Ganapathi puja and Viswaksena puja, before placing Nava Dhanya and four bricks on the ground.


Speaking on the occasion the TTD chairman said as per directions of AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the TTD had launched the construction of SV temples all over the country as part of its Sanatana Hindu Dharma propaganda.


He said TTD was building a temple at a cost of 20 crores in the ten acres of land granted by Telangana CM Sri K Chandrasekar Rao. The complex consists of sub-temples for Sri Padmavati, Sri Andalamma, compound wall, parking etc. The temple is to be completed in two years and all services will be held as in Srivari temple Tirumala.


Telangana MPs Sri Damodaram,  ministers Sri Ganguli Kamalakar, State planning commission vice president Sri Vinod, TTd Hyderabad local advisory committee chairman Sri Bhaskar Rao, TTDJEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Agama advisor Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Srivari temple Chief archakas Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu and others were present.b
