Grand Conclusion of 617th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Thallapaka Annamacharya

The 617th birth anniversary celebrations of Saint Tallapaka Annamacharya concluded grandly on Sunday. At the Annamacharya Kalamandiram, a music concert and Harikatha were held.

At 9 AM, Sri K. Udayabhaskar and team from Tirupati presented Annamayya keertanas like “Appani Varaprasadi Annamayya” and “Adivo Alladivo Srihari Vasamu.” At 10.30 AM, retired Harikatha artist Smt. Jandhyala Krishna Kumari and her team narrated “The Life Story of Annamacharya” through Harikatha.

Earlier, at 8 AM, a grand Asthanam was held at Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple, accompanied by a group rendition by Annamacharya Project artists.

In the evening, at 6 PM, a music concert was performed by Smt. K.V. Vishalakshmi and team, followed by Harikatha by Smt. G.N.K. Seethalakshmi and her group at 7 PM.

Annamacharya Project Coordinator Dr. C. Latha, assistants Sri P. Krishnamurthy, Smt. Kokila, and several devotees participated in the event.
