Grand Celebration of Sri Kalayana Venakteswara Swamy Vari Paruveta Utsavam












The Paruveta Utsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram was observed near Srivari Mettu in a grand religious manner on Thursday.

Earlier the processional deities were taken from the temple in a ceremonial procession to the Paruveta Mandapam near Srivari Mettu. 
Afterwards, the symbolic hunting festival was performed. As a part of this ritual, the deity symbolically launched arrows three times to signify the destruction of evil.
After the ceremonial Asthanam, the deities were brought back to the temple in the evening.
On this occasion, devotional songs were rendered by artists of TTD.  Bhajan troupes performed devotional songs and Kolatam. Later, Anna Prasadam was distributed among the devotees.
The event was attended by Temple Spl Gr Deputy Executive Officer Smt. Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Gopinath, other officials, Srivari Sevaks, priests, and a large number of devotees.
