Sri Krishnaswamy to Bless Devotees on Peddasesha Vahanam

Sri Krishnaswami Temple, the sub-temple in the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor, will celebrate Gokulashtami on August 16 with traditional religious fervor.

In the morning, Abhishekam and Archana to the of Sri Krishnaswami. 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to the Utsava Murthys at the Mukha Mandapam. Evening: Unjal Seva will be conducted.

   

7:00 PM – 8:15 PM: The Lord will grace devotees on Pedda Sesha Vahanam, parading through the four Mada streets of the temple.  8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Go Puja followed by Gokulashtami Asthanam will be held.

 On the following day, August 17, Utlotsavam will be observed:

Evening 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Snapana Tirumanjanam and Unjal Seva, 6:15 PM – 7:30 PM: Utlotsavam and Asthanam for the deity

Due to these special events, the Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on August 16 stands cancelled, as per TTD.
