Arrangements Completed for the 160th Jayanthi Celebrations of Sri Adibhatla Narayanadasu




The 160th Jayanthi celebrations of Srimad Ajjada Adibhatla Narayanadasu, revered as the “Pitamaha of Harikatha”, will be held in a grand manner on August 31 at Mahati Kalakshetram, Tirupati, under the auspices of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.


As part of the celebrations, floral tributes will be offered to the statue of Sri Adibhatla Narayanadas at the SV College of Music and Dance premises at 8:30 AM, followed by group singing. 

Later, from 9 AM onwards at Mahati Auditorium, programs highlighting the importance of Harikatha, its role in Dharma Prachara, the life and contributions of Sri Narayanadasu to Harikatha, and Harikatha performances by eminent artistes will be conducted.

From September 1 to 10, the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad will conduct a special training programme titled “Harikatha Vaibhavam” for Harikatha artistes. 

This programme is aimed at enhancing their skills and enriching the traditional art form. A total of 180 selected Harikatha artistes and will be provided free training at SVETA Bhavan, Tirupati.
