Horse Show A Special Attraction at Independence Day Celebrations of TTD






The Independence Day celebrations held with patriotic fervour on Friday at the Parade Grounds of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.


The equestrian display by NCC students from TTD colleges captivated the participants.

Under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Anup, NCC cadets performed various stunts with horses named Good Luck, Roman Flame, Gagan, Fighter, Rani Jhansi, and Blory. 

They first showcased the National Flag, NCC Flag, and TTD Flag. They also performed tent pegging, show jumping, and other maneuvers. 

The cadets’ parade around the ground on horseback and their skillful stunts delighted the spectators.

TTD’s Dog Show a Special Highlight

A dog show organized under the supervision of the TTD Vigilance and Security Department was another special attraction. Under the leadership of Dog Squad In-charge Sri. Venkateswarlu, dogs named Virat, Rani, Shiny, Indu, Varsha, and Beauty took part.

The events included presenting bouquets, group drills, detecting explosives and narcotics, silent drills, fire jumps, guarding objects carefully, and identifying and stopping fleeing anti-social elements.

Firefighters’ Demonstrations

The firefighting team conducted demonstrations to raise awareness about fire safety and how to remain alert during emergencies.

They demonstrated how to control fires originating from solids, liquids, and gases, and explained how to handle situations such as a cylinder catching fire while cooking at home and many more.
