Sacred Ankurarpanam for PAvitrotsams at Amaravati Held

The sacred Ankurarpana ceremony was performed with religious fervour at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Amaravati (Venkatapalem), the capital of Andhra Pradesh, on Monday evening, ahead of the three-day Pavithrotsavams scheduled from August 19 to 21. 

For the first time, these rituals are being organized in the temple on a grand scale for the well-being of humanity.

As part of the Ankurarpana, Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, Acharya-Ritwik Varanam, Senadhipati Utsavam, Mrutsangrahanam, and Ankurarpanam were conducted.

The program was attended by TTD Superintendent Sri M. Mallikarjuna, other staff and the priests.
