Sacred Pavitrotsavams Conclude with Poornahuti at Sri Venugopala Swamy Vari Temple





The annual Pavitrotsavams at Sri Venugopalaswamy temple, Karvetinagaram, concluded grandly on Wednesday night with the sacred ritual of Poornahuti.


The day began at 5 a.m. with Suprabhatam, followed by Tomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana. Later, amidst the resonant chanting of Vedic hymns and the playing of traditional instruments, sacred garlands were ceremoniously offered to the presiding deities, Utsava Murthis, Garudalwar, and other Parivara Devatas.

In the evening, the temple witnessed the Tiruveedhi Utsavam at 5:30 p.m. followed by Vedic rituals at the Yagashala. The sacred celebrations concluded with Poornahuti.

Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, AEO Sri Ravi, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, temple priests, and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
