TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu on Wednesday directed officials to complete the pending essential works at SPW Junior Women’s College within the stipulated time. He visited the college along with TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam and TTD Board Member Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy.
During the inspection, the Chairman said that several issues related to the students had come to his notice. He instructed the officials to address the basic needs of the students on a priority basis.
Appreciating the serene environment of the college and its impressive pass percentage, Sri B.R. Naidu lauded the efforts of the faculty and management.
He emphasized that the hostel capacity and accommodation facilities for students must be enhanced, and suggested the following key initiatives:
Improvement of medical facilities
Installation of solar water heaters for hot water
Establishment of an e-learning seminar hall
Necessary repairs in the hostel
Strengthening physical education facilities
He instructed the officials to prepare a comprehensive report on these requirements and formulate an action plan accordingly.
Prior to this, the Chairman inspected the college premises, kitchen, and hostel areas, and later interacted with students and their parents.
TTD DEO Sri Venkata Sunilu, Principal Dr. C. Bhuvaneshwari, SE Sri Manoharam, and other officials were also present.
