The TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu on Saturday visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru temples at T. Nagar in Chennai.
Upon his arrival, the officials welcomed him with Poorna Kumbha Swagatham. Special pujas were performed, and he received ashirvachanam.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that priority will be given to the development of the T. Nagar temple.
He informed that he had directed the engineering officials to prepare plans for the construction of the Vimana Gopuram over the sanctum sanctorum.
He further stated that a Local Advisory Committee will soon be constituted to take up developmental activities for both TTD temples in Chennai.
As a part of Hindu Sanatana Dharma Prachara, TTD has resolved to construct Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in all state capitals, he added.
Former MLA Sri Kumaraguru, former LAC chairmen Sri Sekhar Reddy and Sri Nuthalapati Krishna, former members Sri Chandrasekhar and Sri Shankar, along with others, participated in the program and felicitated the Chairman.
TTD AEO Sri Parthasaradhi was also present.
