Deepavali Asthanam Held

The traditional Deepavali Asthanam was performed with religious fervour at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala on Monday in connection with the auspicious Deepavali festival. 

The ceremony was conducted near the Bangaru Vakili in accordance with Agama traditions, wherein the temple priests, Tirumala Pontiffs, and some TTD Board members and officials participated.

The Utsava deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His Consorts Sri and Bhu Devis, Vishwaksena were seated facing Garudalwar Sannidhi, where the Asthanam rituals were conducted. 

Special pujas were performed to the deities, followed by Karpoora Harati and prasada was offered.
