The dedicated services of Srivari Sevaks played a vital role in the humongous success of Garuda Seva, said TTD Chief PRO Dr T Ravi.
Addressing media persons in Media Center on Tuesday the CPRO who also heads the Srivari Seva Wing of TTD said around 3500 Srivari Sevak apart from 400 Parakamani Sevaks and 100 Group Supervisors booked Seva online and participated in this year annual Brahmotsavams.
He said 2000 sevaks are exclusively deployed for four Mada streets on Garuda Seva Day which included 800 for Annaprasadam, 700 for the health department, 200 for holding points, and 300 for vigilance & police.
This year, during the Brahmotsavam, chain links were formed with Srivari Sevaks and steps were taken to ensure that every last devotee in the galleries received Annaprasadam, beverages and water.
The CPRO said that among the 100 plus group Supervisors, some retired Gazetted officers have also rendered extraordinary services in manning the seva activity.
Sevaks rendered remarkable services tirelessly for nearly 20 hours from 4 am to 12 midnight on September 28. The devotees also appreciated the services of the Sevaks besides the user departments of TTD. He also attributed the success to the meticulous planning and team work of Seva Sadan staff.
