The Health wing of TTD received accolades for achieving Cent percent results in garbage clearance and maintaining cleanliness especially on the day of Brahmotsavams, said the DyEO Health Sri Somannarayana.

Addressing media in the media center at Tirumala on Tuesday said besides the existing 2300 sanitation staff an additional 300 odd workers have been pressed into service for Garuda Seva.

While the services of 700 Sevaks in galleries another 200 in outside lines have also been utilsed in a proper way.

He said vector control, sweeping, scrubbing, water jets have been executed with a meticulous plan by the entire staff of Health wing this year.

While the donors have donated sweeping, scrubbing, water jet machinery worth 77 lakh besides another 40 lakh worth 500ml water bottles have been distributed to pilgrims on the day of Garuda Seva.

Health officer Dr Madhusudhan, Unit Officer Sri Tyagaraju, Sanitary Inspectors and supervisors also participated.
