Record Level Annaprasadam Distribution on G-Day - Deputy Eo

Annaprasadam has been served to the 99% satisfaction of devotees asserted Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Rajendra Kumar.

In the media conference held on Tuesday at Media Center in Tirumala along with Catering Special Officer, Sri G. L. N. Sastry, he said that around 16 varieties of Annaprasadams, beverages were distributed to the devotees without any inconvenience with the support of 800 Srivari Sevaks.

He also said this year the donors have donated 23 types of vegetables. Different delicacies have been served to the devotees so far. From September 24 to 29, Annaprasadam was served to 23,48,337 devotees and beverages  to 11,32,160 devotees. 

Special Officer of Catering said that on the day of Garuda Seva, Annaprasadam was distributed to 9,28,000 devotees and beverages to 6,27,200 people at the galleries and holding points of the four Mada streets. He said that biscuit packets and sundals were distributed to 4,36,994 devotees. 

About 1300 staff  worked tirelessly to deliver Annaprasadam to the devotees. He informed that 33 percent more Annaprasadam was distributed this year compared to last year. and lauded the chain link services of Sevaks and cooperation of the Police in providing Annaprasadam to the devotees waiting in galleries.
