Robust Arrangements for Panchami Theertham

TTD has made extensive  arrangements for the convenience of multitude of devotees arriving for Panchami Teertham scheduled on November 25, the concluding day of the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor.

Preparedness of various departments:

ENGINEERING

Queue lines, barricades, entry and exit gates at Padma Pushkarini, and installation of directional and information boards.

SECURITY

For the safety and smooth movement of devotees, TTD’s Security and Vigilance wings have arranged tight security.

1600 Police Personnel have been deployed for crowd management and security.

ANNA PRASADAM COUNTERS

To ensure seamless distribution of Annaprasadam to devotees, 150 Anna Prasadam counters have been arranged.

In addition, drinking water, snacks, Annaprasadam and buttermilk will be provided to devotees in the queue lines.

SANITATION FACILITIES

A total of 284 toilets (permanent, temporary, and mobile) have been set up. Additional sanitary staff have been deployed to maintain cleanliness.

SIGNAGE

Clear signboards have been installed across various locations to help devotees easily identify areas such as:

and other essential points.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

Medical and paramedical staff

First-aid centres at three locations

Five ambulances

Essential medicines

Doctors from SVIMS, Ruia Hospital, and Ayurvedic practitioners will provide services. Fire services and NDRF teams will also be stationed.

Parking for VIPs is arranged opposite the Tiruchanoor Panchayat Office.

63 LED SCREENS INSTALLED

To facilitate viewing of the Brahmotsavams, TTD has already set up 25 LED screens across Tirupati, Tiruchanoor, and TTD temples across the country.

For Panchami Teertham, 34 additional screens have been installed at holding points, along with 4 screens at Padma Sarovaram.

ENTRY ONLY FROM HOLDING POINTS

Devotees must proceed to Padma Sarovaram only from designated holding points:

1. ZP High School

2. Pudi Area

3. Near Navajeevan Hospital

Entry to the sacred pond will be regulated strictly from these points for orderly movement.

SRIVARI SEVAKS

Around 900 Srivari Sevaks will serve devotees across various TTD departments during the Panchami Teertham.

LIVE TELECAST BY SVBC

The Panchami Teertham celebrations will be broadcast live on SVBC for devotees across the globe.

At 12.10 PM, during Kumbha Lagna, the Chakrasnanam will be performed in Padma Pushkarini as per Agamic traditions by temple priests.

TTD appeals to devotees to maintain restraint and patience while performing the sacred ritual, as the spiritual significance of Panchami Teertham lasts throughout the day.
