Tiruchanoor Sare Procession at Tirumala

Following the auspicious Panchami Theertham, the procession of Tiruchanoor Sare from Tirumala commences from Tirumala temple during the early hours on Tuesday.

The sare happens to the precious gift from Sri Venkateswara Swamy to His lady love Sri Padmavati on the laters’ birthday which happens to be the Tiruchanoor Panchami. 

The pre-dawn rituals commences with the procession of Parimalam, tulasi Garlands and other valuable ornaments to be presented to Sri Padmavathi from Her better half.

This sare will be carried on the temple elephants circumambulating four mada streets and then taking to Tiruchanoor.
