The sixteen-day Sundarakanda Parayanam, conducted in Tirumala from November 28 with the objective of universal welfare, concluded ceremoniously on Saturday with Purnahuti at the Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana Peetham.
The 16-day Sundarakanda Parayanam was held daily from November 28 to December 13 between 8.30 am and 9.30 am at the Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala. This was followed by Aradhana, Abhishekam, Homam and other prescribed rituals conducted between 9 am and 12 noon at the Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana Peetham followed by Purnahuti.
TTD Board Member Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy, Principal of Veda Vijnana Peetham Sri Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani, Vedic scholars and students participated in the programme.
