SVBC to Offer Better High-Quality Broadcasts - TTD Eo

TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed officials concerned to provide better high-quality broadcasts of Srivari Vaibhavam and kainkaryams to devotees across the world through the SVBC channel in HD quality. 

He reviewed related matters with officials on Monday at his chamber in the TTD Administrative Building.

Speaking on the occasion, the EO instructed officials to submit the necessary applications to the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for allocation of additional satellite bandwidth for uplinking and downlinking of the SVBC HD channel, in order to further enhance the quality of SVBC programmes. 

He also asked them to take all necessary steps required for the operation of the HD channel.

The EO noted that currently only 12 seconds of sponsored spots per hour are being allowed on the SVBC channel and directed officials to take steps to increase this duration up to 60 seconds per hour.

He also instructed that steps be taken to extend medical facilities for another two years to SVBC employees and their family members, covering general medical treatment at SVIMS and eye care services at Aravind Eye Hospital. 

As part of action being taken against non-Hindus in TTD, the EO directed that the services of Sri Awad Bin Mohsin Sanaji, working as a Technician in SVBC, and Sri M.D. Kaiser Pasha, working as an Office Subordinate, whose records show that they belong to the Muslim community, should not be continued after the expiry of their contract period on 31.12.2025.

SVBC Board Members Sri B. Anandasai and Sri M.S. Raju participated virtually in the meeting, while SVBC In-charge CEO Sri Panikumar Naidu and several other officials were present.
