179th Aradhana Festival of Sri Tyagaraja Swamy Celebrated with Devotion







The 179th Aradhana festival of Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja Swamy is being celebrated with devotion under the auspices of TTD-run Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance and the SV Nadaswaram and Dolu School.  


An uninterrupted 24-hour musical tribute program is being observed from 7:30 AM on Wednesday till 8 AM on January 8 at the open auditorium on the college premises.


On this occasion, after the Nadaswaram and Dolu concert at 7:30 AM, the Panchamrita Abhishekam ceremony to Musical Saint Sri Tyagaraja Swamy was rendered.


A group of musical scholars from the city and the college faculty presented Sri Tyagaraja Pancha Ratnalu in a befitting manner.


Following this, music scholars, alumni and students of the College  and the teaching staff  presented vocal and instrumental music concerts, captivating the audience with their devotion and skills. 


On Thursday the 24-hr long Musical fete will conclude with the Sri Anjaneya fest and Maha Mangala Harathi ceremony. Dr. M. Uma Muddubala, Principal of SV Music and Dance College, others were present.
