77th Republic Day Celebrations Held at TTD Administration Building

The Tricolour Flag Fluttered at the Parade Grounds of TTD Administrative Building on Republic Day on Monday in Tirupati.

The 77th Republic Day celebrations were held in a grand manner as the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, hoisted the National Flag and received the guard of honour at the Parade Grounds.

The parade conducted by the TTD Security Personnel was a major attraction of the event, with AVSO Sri Srinivasa Rao serving as the Parade Commander.

Addressing the employees on the occasion, the TTD EO appreciated their dedication and service.

Later, 31 officers and 266 employees from various departments, along with seven employees from SVBC, were honoured for their outstanding services on the occasion.

They were presented with Srivari Silver Dollars weighing five grams each and Appreciation Certificates.

Cultural Programmes

As part of the celebrations, students of SV College of Music and Dance College presented captivating cultural performances to devotional and patriotic songs.

Dog Squad Demonstration – A Special Attraction

A special attraction of the celebrations was the Dog Squad demonstration organised by the TTD Vigilance and Security Department under the supervision of Dog Squad In-charge Sri Apparao. 

The trained Canines — Virat, Bindu, Indu, Shiny, Giri, Rani and John Beauty — participated in the demonstration and showcased group drills, detection of explosives and narcotics, silent drills, protection of valuables and apprehension of fleeing anti-social elements and other skills, drawing a huge applause from the audience.

Fire Services Demonstration

The Fire Services personnel conducted live demonstrations to create awareness on fire safety and emergency preparedness. They explained methods to control fires caused by solid, liquid and gas substances, handling kitchen fire accidents involving LPG cylinders, and extinguishing forest fires.

A special water display forming the Tricolour pattern captivated the gathering.

Dignitaries present includes the TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Board Member Sri G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy, JEOs Sri Veerabrahmam and Dr. Sharath, CV&SO Sri Murali Krishna, FA & CAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Satyanarayana, In-charge DLO Sri Subbannaidu, Additional CVSO Sri Venkata Siva Kumar Reddy, DFO Sri  Phani Kumar Naidu, CPRO Dr. T. Ravi, along with officers and employees from all departments, attended the celebrations.
