₹6.40 CR Worth Yagnopaveetham Presented to Kalyana Venakteswara Swamy Varu







Srivari Lakshmi Kasula Haram Shobhayatra began in a grand style from the TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Thursday.


As a part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, the garland will be decorated on Thursday night to commemorate the Garuda Seva. 


Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary said it has been a practice to decorate the famous Lakshmi Kasula Haram of Tirumala Srivaru to adorn Garuda Seva of Sri Venkateswara  Swamy. 


JEOs Sri Veerabrahamam,Dr. Sharath, CVSO Sri Murali Krishna participated in this program.


Yagnopaveetam presented


On this occasion, TTD presented a 6-petal gold Yagnopaveetam with a 4 kg diamond Mopu, worth about Rs. 6.40 crores was also presented to the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara as a gift from Tirumala temple on the occasion.


Earlier, the Srivari Lakshmi Kasula Haram was brought from the Tirumala Temple by Peishkar Sri Ramakrishna to the TTD Administration Building in Tirupati.


This Lakshmiharam Shobha Yatra started from the TTD administrative building in Tirupati and reached Srinivasa Mangapuram covering Sri Kodanda Ramalayam, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Mahathi Auditorium. 


The procession continued with religious fervour amidst bhajans and kolatams by dance troupes. 


TTD Trust Board members Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy, Smt Panabaka Lakshmi, District SP Sri Subbarayudu, Temple Special Grade Deputy EO Smt. Varalaxmi, VGOs Sri Ram Kumar, Sri Giridhar, other officials, priests also participated in this program.


A large number of devotees and Srivari Sevaks were also present.
