As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy, a series of cultural programmes organised in the temple premises on Thursday filled the atmosphere with devotional fervour.
At 5.30 PM, Dr. Y. Parameswaraiah presented a melodious vocal concert and captivated the devotees by rendering compositions such as “Vinayakaya…”, “Surasenapathi…” and “Kamakshi Loka Sakshini…”.
At 6.30 PM, Smt. Shailaja and her troupe enthralled the audience with devotional hymns including “Ganesha Pancharatnam…”, “Lingashtakam…”, “Shivashtakam…” and “Shiva Tandava Stotram…”.
Later, from 7.30 PM to 8.30 PM, Smt. Indumathi and her troupe presented an impressive classical dance performance to compositions like “Pushpanjali…”, “Natesa Kauthvam…”, “Bho Shambho…”, “Jatiswaram…”, “Devi Stuti…” and “Shankara Sri Giri Natha Prabho…”, which received wide appreciation from the devotees.
The cultural events added spiritual splendour to the ongoing Brahmotsavams and were well received by the gathering of devotees
